Meet the Sparks who started all this!
We are the Newmans. When our oldest was about two years old I started drawing coloring page versions of icons for him to color while we told stories. I started posting them to a blog for other moms- and Sparks was born!
I was born and raised in New Hampshire. I was a Baptist girl until I met an Orthodox boy. After many heated debates and two years of catechism I was welcomed into the Orthodox Church by Holy Chrismation in 2005. I taught Public High School until we started our family and then I decided to stay home and raise my babies.
When our oldest was two and brother a baby naptime was a challenge. It was never my favorite part of the day, but to make it more fun for me- I tool my travel mug and clipboard to sit on the beanbag in the hallway. While enforcing quiet time, I drew what has become the collection of coloring pages here for free personal use.

My primary goal is to produce high quality engaging images for kids to color while learning about the Orthodox faith. To encourage those questions or small moments of conversation.
